Aphex Twin has put together a special collection of singles he sold at his concerts from 2016 to 2023, and it’s now available for everyone to enjoy.
The album, called Music From the Merch Desk (2016 – 2023), popped up on streaming sites yesterday and is live today with a whopping 38 tracks for you to dive into. It kicks off with two songs from Houston, TX 12.17.16, a mysterious release from eight years back, while the newest tunes were sold last year at All Points East.
Fans sometimes wonder if these surprise releases are like hidden treasures waiting to be found.
In other news, Aphex Twin celebrated the 20th anniversary of Selected Ambient Works Volume II by reissuing it recently. His latest new music came out in July 2023 with an EP titled Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / In a Room7 F760.
