Big Ears Festival 2025 Lineup: Philip Glass Ensemble, Waxahatchee, Yo La Tengo

Big Ears Festival is coming back to Knoxville, Tennessee from March 27-30.

This event will showcase performances by Philip Glass Ensemble, ANOHNI and the Johnsons, Waxahatchee, Rufus Wainwright, Esperanza Spalding, Yo La Tengo, Múm, Jessica Pratt, and Sun Ra Arkestra. Plus, Jonny Greenwood’s 133 Years of Reverb will have its North American debut with James McVinnie and Eliza McCarthy. The festival has nearly 200 concerts spread across more than 14 venues.

In addition to this amazing lineup for 2025, Arooj Aftab, Julia Holter, Alan Sparhawk, Explosions in the Sky; Tortoise; ML Buch; Rachika Nayar; Still House Plants; William Basinski; Cassandra Jenkins; Yaya Bey; Marisa Anderson; Béla Fleck; Dawn Richard and Spencer Zahn are also performing. Other names include Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz band Meshell Ndegeocello Steve Roach Nels Cline Vijay Iyer Tindersticks Beak>, Alabaster DePlume Astrid Sonne Helado Negro Mabe Fratti Marissa Nadler Chanel Beads among others!
