Billy Joel needs to take a break from performing because he has to recover from surgery and follow his doctors’ advice with physical therapy.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel stated. “I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
Concerts in cities like Detroit, Toronto, Syracuse, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Charlotte, and Milwaukee will happen later than planned.
If you’ve already bought tickets for these concerts, don’t worry; they’re still good for the new dates. But if you can’t go on those days anymore, you can get your money back where you bought them.
Last year was interesting because Billy Joel released a new song called “Turn the Lights Back On” and wrapped up his famous Madison Square Garden shows.
Fans are really hoping he gets better soon so they can enjoy his music again.
