Blondshell Unveils Album, Releases “T&A” Music Video

Sabrina Teitelbaum, known as Blondshell, is gearing up to release her second album called If You Asked for a Picture on May 2 through Partisan.

The new song โ€œT&Aโ€ has been unveiled with a video by Hannah Bon, where three guys and their rescue pups show off how alike they are. “It feels impossible to think of anything other than the fires in Los Angeles right now,โ€ Blondshell shared. โ€œThe city Iโ€™ve lived in for ten years is burning and the scale of the loss is incomprehensible. In a way it feels dumb to talk about music, but I also think the whole point of art is for it to exist in the context of pain as a small emotional respiteโ€ฆ even if just for one moment. Please stay safe. Thank you for letting me share this with you. Twelve songs about searching for love, family, and friendship in many right and wrong places.โ€ She also posted links for helping out LA with Mutual Aid LA, fostering dogs, and supporting firefighters.

Fans sometimes find comfort in music when things get tough.

The albumโ€™s name comes from Mary Oliverโ€™s poem โ€œDogfishโ€ from 1986 and was produced by Yves Rothman. While โ€œT&Aโ€ is actually her second release from this album after last yearโ€™s track “Whatโ€™s Fair,” she also worked with Bully on โ€œDocketโ€ back in 2024โ€”though that song isnโ€™t part of this album.
