Blood Incantation Announces New Album Absolute Elsewhere

Blood Incantation from Denver is releasing their longest album, Absolute Elsewhere, on October 4 via Century Media.

The new album, which follows 2019’s Hidden History of the Human Race, features two long songs called “The Stargate” and “The Message,” adding up to 45 minutes of music. Produced by Arthur Rizk in Berlin’s Hansa Tonstudios, the album also includes contributions from Thorsten Quaeschning, Malte Gericke, and Nicklas Malmqvist.

The band took ideas for this LP from Absolute Elsewhere, a ’70s prog rock group with Bill Bruford from King Crimson. Paul Riedl said the album feels like a soundtrack to a sci-fi movie about human consciousness made by a ’90s death metal band inspired by ’70s prog music.

I think it’s cool how they mix different styles together.

Before this LP, Blood Incantation released an EP called Timewave Zero in 2022 and a maxi-single named “Luminescent Bridge.” They’ve also started the Stargate Research Society Discord and app for fans to chat about everything related to Blood Incantation. Topics include an old floppy disk found from the ’80s, a mysterious red planet, and strange transmissions.
