Blxst Debut Album Announced, New Video with Anderson .Paak

Blxst’s first album, I’ll Always Come Find You, is dropping on July 19 through Red Bull Records and Evgle.

The album features a track with Anderson .Paak called “Dance With the Devil,” and you can watch its music video below. Blxst shared his excitement about working with Anderson .Paak in a press release. He mentioned being inspired by Anderson since his Malibu days and felt it was a full-circle moment when Anderson reached out to him in the summer of 2023. This collaboration, along with Free Nationals, gave Blxst the chance to aim high and include Anderson on his debut album. The song blends their unique styles from California, creating a sound that’s captivating from the first listen. It explores themes of love and temptation.

I’ll Always Come Find You also includes “Risk Taker,” which features Offset. Over recent years, Blxst has put out several non-album projects like Before You Go, the Just for Clarity 2 EP, and Sixtape 3.

I think it’s really cool how artists can inspire each other across different albums.

If you’re curious about how Kendrick Lamar created “Die Hard” with Blxst and Amanda Reifer’s help, there’s an interesting read about it online. Also, check out what went down at Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out Concert—it was quite the West Coast reunion!
