Broken Social Scene Release New Documentary Trailer

Broken Social Scene is releasing a new documentary called Itโ€™s All Gonna Break, directed by Stephen Chung.

The name comes from the last song on their self-titled album, and the film shows their early days and how they made their first three albums: Feel Good Lost (2001), You Forgot It in People (2002), and Broken Social Scene (2005). You can catch it at the Woodstock Film Festival on October 16. Check out the trailer below!

This documentary will include behind-the-scenes videos, personal clips, concert footage, and interviews with band members like Feist, Emily Haines, Amy Millan, and many others. Back in 2007, Chung wanted to make a film about them but they didnโ€™t like his first version.

Their latest album was Hug of Thunder, released in 2017. In 2019, they came out with two EPs called Letโ€™s Try the After. They also dropped a collection named Old Dead Young: B-Sides & Rarities in 2022.

I think fans are really going to love this new documentary!
