Charli XCX and Yung Lean are stepping into the world of acting with a new movie called Sacrifice, directed by Romain Gavras.
The film, which is being shot in Greece and Bulgaria, boasts an impressive lineup including Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy, Salma Hayek, Sam Richardson, Vincent Cassel, John Malkovich, Ambika Mod, Jade Croot, Jeremy O. Harris, and Miriam Silverman. For Yung Lean, known from the documentary Yung Lean: In My Head, this marks his first time acting in a big movie. He also dropped an album called Psykos with Bladee earlier this year.
Charli XCX has been busy with lots of acting gigs that haven’t come out yet. Besides Sacrifice, she’s set to be in movies like Faces of Death, I Want Your Sex, Erupcja, and more. Oh! And she’s going to rock it as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live soon.
Romain Gavras is making his first English-language flick with this one. He’s famous for directing some really cool music videos for artists like Jamie xx and M.I.A.
