Chris Martin Performs Coldplay’s All My Love at 2025 Grammys In Memoriam

At the 2025 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy remembered many artists who passed away, with Chris Martin performing Coldplay’s “All My Love” on piano alongside a string section.

The tribute was for Marianne Faithfull, Steve Albini, Sergio Mendes, Liam Payne, Frankie Beverly, Eric Carmen, Rich Homie Quan, Kris Kristofferson, Garth Hudson from the Band and many others. It also honored Angela Alvarez and Phil Lesh from Grateful Dead; Bob Newhart; Seiji Ozawa; Ella Jenkins; Wayne Osmond; Alfa Anderson; Richard Perry; JD Souther; Roy Haynes; John Titta; Rico Wade; Cissy Houston; John Mayall and Dickey Betts of Allman Brothers.

We often feel sad when we remember those we’ve lost.

Angela Bofill and Joe Bonsall were mentioned too. So were Fatman Scoop and Sandra Crouch. Others included Richard Sherman, Joe Chambers and Jack Jones. Duane Eddy along with Henry “Hank” Cicalo made the list as well as Abdul Kareem Fakir and Will Jennings. Kinky Friedman got a nod too! Egidio Cuadrado was part of it just like David Sanborn or Steve Lawrence… even DJ Clark Kent wasn’t forgotten! Mary Martin plus Sam Moore were acknowledged while Tito Jackson from Jackson 5 had his moment next to Toby Keith…and more people than you can imagine!
