Dialect Unveils New Album Atlas of Green, Releases Song Video

Dialect, whose real name is Andrew PM Hunt, has a new album called Atlas of Green, and he just released a video for “Late Fragment.”

The album drops on September 20 through Rvng Intl. and comes after his 2021 record Under~Between. The inspiration for this new work came from the Italian thinker Federico Campagna, with science fiction writers like Ursula K. Le Guin and Gene Wolfe also playing a part during his time at Bidston Artistic Research Center.

Hunt shared that sometimes it feels like we’re stuck in one place with big problems like climate change and inequality. He finds hope in thinking that maybe the world needs a new song to tell a new story about itself.

I think music can really change how we see things.

Atlas of Green will have these tracks:

01 New Sun
02 Recreation Story
03 Born Through
04 Spiral Cartography
05 Overgrown Song
06 Late Fragment
07 Green’s Dream
08 Archaic Quarter Form
09 Atlas of Green
10 Age & Rain
11 Ancient Faith Radio
12 Sí Sa So

The video directed by Sara Ludy is pretty cool .
