Netflix has unveiled a sneak peek of an upcoming documentary about Avicii, the famous Swedish DJ and producer.
Avicii – I’m Tim will feature chats with people like David Guetta and Chris Martin, while Avicii’s own voice will guide us through his story using old videos and recordings. You can watch it everywhere on December 31, along with a short concert film from his last show in Ibiza.
The movie takes us on a rollercoaster ride through Tim’s life, starting from when he was born in Stockholm in 1989 to his sad passing in Oman in 2018. It promises to show us the real Tim behind the superstar name by sharing moments from home videos and stories from those who knew him best—his family, friends, and fellow artists.
In 2018, Avicii left this world at just 28 years old. A year later, fans got to hear more of his music with the album Tim. Sweden continues to celebrate him by opening an Avicii museum and even naming a big arena after him!
