Go-Betweens Volume 3 Box Set Release

On December 13, the last part of the Go-Betweensโ€™ box set series, G Stands for Go-Betweens, will be available.

This collection captures their music from 2000 to 2006 and includes a lot of cool stuff like four vinyl records and seven CDs. You’ll find their last three albumsโ€”The Friends of Rachel Worth, Bright Yellow Bright Orange, and Oceans Apartโ€”plus many rare songs and some tracks no one has heard before. There’s also a special bunch of fourteen songs recorded back in 1991 that finish off this amazing set.

An acoustic radio session from Bayern 2 Radio in Munich is the fourth LP, while Mark Wallis gave Oceans Apart a fresh mix for this release. Extra goodies include B-sides, more radio sessions, and demos. If you’re curious about all the tracks included, you can check out Domino’s full list. Robert Forster, who is still with us from the duo, has added some special memories and notes in a big book with over a hundred pages that have other writings too. Lucky fans who are quick enough to order first might get a book from Grant McLennanโ€™s own library along with Forsterโ€™s signed bookmark!

The whole box set adventure began in 2015 with volume one showcasing tunes from 1978 to 1984; then came volume two in 2019 which highlighted their work between ’85 and ’89.
