Green Day Coachella 2025 Weekend One Performance

Green Day rocked the stage at Coachella 2025 on Saturday, April 12, playing alongside Travis Scott.

Even though Billie Joe Armstrong had previously joined the Replacements in 2014 at this festival, this was the first time Green Day performed as a band. Their setlist was a wild ride through their music history, starting from Dookie in 1994 to their newest album Saviors, released in 2024. They began with songs from American Idiot, tweaking lyrics to say “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda,” and later sang “Jesus of Suburbia” with new lines about kids from Palestine.

The concert had some cool surprises too! A guy dressed as a bunny hyped up the crowd with Ramones’ “Blitzkreig Bop.” During “Hitchin’ a Ride,” they played a bit of Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” and started “Wake Me Up When September Ends” with Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’.” As always, they brought fans onstage—one sang along to “Know Your Enemy,” and another played guitar for the final song “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).”

Fans love how Green Day keeps things exciting and fresh!

Their album Saviors, announced in fall 2023, came out with an awesome zombie-themed video for “The American Dream Is Killing Me.” They also dropped singles like “Look Ma, No Brains!” and “Dilemma.” This album follows their previous one from 2020 called Father of All…
