Japandroids Release New Song All Bets Are Off Listen

Japandroids have returned with a fresh track from their upcoming and final album, Fate & Alcohol.

The new song, "All Bets Are Off," is inspired by Brian Kingโ€™s tour diary where he saw an ex at a bar while people-watching. Check it out below.

Before this, they released singles โ€œD&Tโ€ and โ€œChicagoโ€ from the same album, which will be available on October 18 via Anti-. King mentioned that they made sure every track was energetic and loud before letting Jesse Gander hear them. "We made certain that every song ripped in our jam space before [longtime recording engineer] Jesse [Gander] ever heard it."

They met in the mid-2000s at the University of Victoria and dropped their debut album Post-Nothing in 2009 after moving to Vancouver. They followed up with Celebration Rock in 2012, Near to the Wild Heart of Life in 2017, and a live album called Massey Fucking Hall in 2020.

Fans always love hearing how bands evolve over time.

Remember their 2016 interview titled โ€œSynths! Ballads! Acoustic Guitars! Welcome to Japandroids 2.0.โ€
