On September 20, Karen O and Danger Mouse will re-release their 2019 album Lux Prima.
Alongside this reissue, fans can look forward to a special 7" vinyl featuring two additional tracks. One of these is "Super Breath," marking their first new music since the original album dropped. The other track is a cover of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” which they initially recorded for a SiriusXMU session.
The new edition of Lux Prima includes a cool 16-page booklet inspired by the Encounter With Lux Prima exhibition at Los Angeles’s Marciano Arts Foundation.
I think it’s awesome when artists release extra content with their reissues.
Since putting out Lux Prima, Danger Mouse has been busy with his album Cheat Codes, created in collaboration with Black Thought, and he also re-released his old record with Jemini, titled Born Again. Meanwhile, Karen O got back together with Yeah Yeah Yeahs for their 2022 album called Cool It Down.
