Killer Mike has taken legal action against the security team that got him arrested at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
During the event, a guard from S & S Labor Force made a citizen’s arrest, leading to Mike being handcuffed and escorted out. He said it was all because of an “over-zealous security guard” and some confusion about where he should go after winning awards. Though he was booked for misdemeanor battery, no charges stuck in the end.
Now, he’s accusing them of going beyond their duties to make him look bad and hurt him both publicly and professionally. It’s like they wanted to embarrass him on purpose!
The lawsuit says this guard wrongly arrested Mike and locked him up during the Grammys. Because of this, he missed being on TV in front of everyone around the world. It also claims she grabbed his arm hard enough to stop him from leaving, which was unnecessary.

In total, Killer Mike is suing for false arrest, assault, emotional distress, and negligence. S & S says these claims are not true at all. The female guard who signed off on his arrest claimed that Killer Mike pushed her first.
