Leon Vynehall, a talented DJ and producer from the UK, is all set to drop his new album, In Daytona Yellow, on September 19 under his own label Ooze Inc.
The first single from this album is “Mirror’s Edge,” featuring Poison Anna. According to Vynehall, “You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use art to see your soul.” He was inspired by Roberta Flack’s song about seeing someone for the first time and thought it would be cool to write something similar but about oneself. He wanted this track to explore both self-love and self-doubt—like feeling amazing yet unsure at the same time.
Vynehall shared that his new album is all about not trying to be perfect and being okay with showing who you really are. He feels like it’s time to say goodbye to the old him and embrace what’s next.
Fans love when artists show their true selves because it makes their music so much more relatable.
