Lil Wayne is set to drop his new album, Tha Carter VI, on June 6.
Back in 2004, Lil Wayne kicked off his Carter series with the first album. The following years saw the release of Tha Carter II in 2005, Tha Carter III in 2008, and then Tha Carter IV in 2011. Although fans were eagerly waiting for the fifth installment in 2014, it faced numerous setbacks and finally came out in September 2018.
After putting out Tha Carter V, Wayne kept busy with several projects like No Ceilings 3, Funeral, and others including a fun commercial where he jokes about not being picked for the Super Bowl halftime show.
Fans think it’s cool how he keeps surprising us with new stuff all the time.
