Martin Scorsese’s New Beatles Documentary

A fresh documentary about The Beatles is on its way.

On November 29, Disney+ will showcase Beatles โ€™64, a film crafted by Martin Scorsese and David Tedeschi. This movie brings to light unseen footage captured by Albert and David Maysles, spotlighting the band’s inaugural journey to America in February 1964, where they rocked The Ed Sullivan Show and played at the Washington Coliseum.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have lent their hands to co-producing this project, which coincides with the release of The Beatles: 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono. This box set revives seven albums from that era using original mono master tapes: Meet the Beatles!,ย The Beatlesโ€™ Second Album,ย A Hard Dayโ€™s Nightย (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack),ย Something New,ย The Beatlesโ€™ Story (2xLP),ย Beatles โ€™65, andย The Early Beatles.

Fans might wonder how many more stories are left to tell about these legendary musicians.

This new documentary comes after Peter Jackson’s 2021 series The Beatles: Get Back, which took us behind the scenes during the making of Let It Be. Earlier announcements revealed that each Beatle will star in his own biopic directed by Sam Mendes, slated for release in 2027.
