Megan Thee Stallion is about to have a new documentary that shows how she became a famous rapper.
The film, called Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, directed by Nneka Onuorah, will be available on Prime Video starting October 31. It tells the story of how Megan from Houston climbed to fame while dealing with things like sadness and pressure. Viewers will get to see who Megan Pete really is through her most personal moments, along with some cool behind-the-scenes clips of her life at work and home.
Having already worked on Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls with Amazon MGM Studios, which won an Emmy, Onuorah brings her magic again in this project. She said about Megan, “Her raw and beautiful spirit really shines through in the film.” It’s great seeing someone stand up for women so their stories can be told.
People think it’s awesome when artists share their real selves like this.
Just last month, Megan took charge at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards by hosting and performing songs from Megan. She did an amazing medley featuring “Boa” and “B.A.S.” plus rocked out “Mamushi” live with Yuki Chiba joining her on stage.
