Mk.gee Performs Rockman & Alesis on Saturday Night Live

Last night on Saturday Night Live, Mk.gee performed โ€œRockmanโ€ and โ€œAlesisโ€ from his latest music collection.

Although he didn’t join any skits, Bill Burr was hilarious in a sketch about a make-believe 80s rock band called Snake Skin. You can watch the performances and a promo video where Mk.gee stays super serious alongside Bill Burr and Sarah Sherman.

The episode aired after the 2024 presidential election, with Burr hosting instead of Dave Chappelle, who usually does it. Next week, Charli XCX will be both host and musical guest on November 16.

This season of SNL, which is its 50th, has shown stars like Jelly Roll, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, and Chappell Roan. Roan sang “Pink Pony Club” and another song that hasn’t been released yet called “The Giver.” It was the first time on SNL for both Roan and Mk.gee.

Mk.gee’s first album came out in February called Two Star & the Dream Police. After that, he released singles like โ€œLonely Fightโ€ and โ€œRockman.โ€ Fans think it’s cool how he’s making waves with his music.
