Moses Sumney has dropped a fresh take on his song Hey Girl, now called “Hey Girl(s),” with Syd and Meshell Ndegeocello joining in.
Ndegeocello shared her thoughts, saying, “I was excited when Moses thought of me for this song because I love his voice, it’s just otherworldly, and this song spoke to me because of the way he pushes a romantic narrative into the future. It was a pleasure to get a glimpse into his process and an honor to be part of it.”
Recently, Meshell Ndegeocello snagged the Grammy for Best Alternative Jazz Album again. She’s made history by being the only one to win since its introduction in 2024.
Fans really enjoy seeing artists collaborate like this; it’s like magic happening right before our eyes.
