My Morning Jacket is gearing up to release a brand new album titled Is, hitting the shelves on March 21 through ATO.
The first taste of this album is a song called “Time Waited,” which comes with an intriguing video by Danny Clinch, filled with old photos and live show clips. You can check it out below.
Usually, Jim James takes charge of producing their music, but this time around, he handed over the reins to Brendan O’Brien. Brendan’s known for working on some big albums like Bruce Springsteen’s The Rising. Jim shared his thoughts: “Up until now I’ve never been able to let go and allow someone else to steer the ship,” adding that it was quite surreal but ultimately enjoyable for him.

Come April, fans can look forward to My Morning Jacket’s One Big Holiday festival happening at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach from April 3-5.
