Navy Blue Releases Memoirs in Armour, New Song Video

Next week, Navy Blue is dropping a new album.

After his debut with Def Jam Recordings last year, titled Ways of Knowing, he’s now releasing Memoirs in Armour on August 2 through his own label, Freedom Sounds. The first single from the album is “Low Threshold,” and it has a music video directed by Ryosuke Tanzawa. Check it out below.

The track “Low Threshold” was produced by Child Actor. For Memoirs in Armour, Navy Blue also teamed up with Budgie, Chuck Strangers, Nicholas Craven, and others. He even did some producing himself for the song “Slow.”

I think it’s cool how artists sometimes produce their own tracks.

If you want to know more about Navy Blue’s song “Pillars” from Ways of Knowing, it was featured in “The 42 Best Rap Songs of 2023.”
