PartyNextDoor & Drake Releasing New Album Some Sexy Songs 4 U Next Week

Next week, PartyNextDoor and Drake are dropping their joint album called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U on Valentine’s Day.

These two have been making music together since at least 2013 when Drake hopped on PartyNextDoor’s track “Over Here,” and they’ve teamed up on songs like “Own It,” “Recognize,” “Preach,” and “Loyal” ever since.

Drake’s latest solo work, For All the Dogs, came out in October 2023. The upcoming album will be his third big team-up after working with Future on What a Time to Be Alive and with 21 Savage on Her Loss. He’ll also be heading to Australia and New Zealand for a tour later this month.

PartyNextDoor made a comeback last year with his album P4, which was his first release since he dropped Partymobile in 2020. Before that, he hadn’t done a self-titled project since P3 in 2016.

The Grammy Awards last night didn’t see either Drake or PartyNextDoor attending. But Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us,” which takes shots at them, snagged five awards. Meanwhile, Drake is suing Universal Music Group over the diss track for defamation.

You know, fans really love it when artists they admire get together to make something new.
