Rachika Nayar & Nina Keith Debut Disiniblud Album with New Songs

Rachika Nayar from Brooklyn and Nina Keith from Philadelphia have teamed up to create a new musical duo called Disiniblud.

Their debut album, simply named Disiniblud, will be available on July 18 through Smugglers Way. The album includes songs like “It’s Change” with Willy Siegel, Katie Dey, and Julianna Barwick, and “Blue Rags, Raging Wind” featuring Amigone. You can listen to these tracks below.

Four years ago, Nayar and Keith met in a park after admiring each other’s music online. They instantly felt they should collaborate someday. Their project is like a silent chat about life changes, magic of childhood, and the inevitable end we all face. As Nayar put it: “It’s not about healing and moving past the darkness.” Keith added that you carry both light and dark with you everywhere: “That’s the only way you can really metabolize it.”

Besides those already mentioned artists, their album also features Cassandra Croft, June McDoom, Aspidistrafly, and Noriko Tujiko.

People sometimes find beauty in unexpected collaborations.
