Radiohead fans, get ready for some intriguing news. All five members of the band have come together to form a new business entity called RHEUK25 LLP, hinting that something exciting might be brewing since their last big project, Kid A Mnesia. This could mean anything from a reissue to a brand-new album or even a tour, but nobody knows for sure just yet.
It’s also possible that this is just a distraction. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s side project, the Smile, did something similar with Self Help Tapes LLP before they dropped their debut album in 2022. Radiohead has used such entities in the past when planning tours or releasing albums; however, they don’t usually create them without any purpose.
Radiohead keeps things mysterious as always. Their reps haven’t spilled any beans about what’s next. Sometimes band members hint at getting back together; other times, they act like it’s not happening anytime soon. By chance—or maybe not—they released a video today celebrating 30 years since The Bends came out.
Fans sometimes wonder if these secretive moves will lead to new music or are just part of how Radiohead operates.
Back in 2016, fans on the At Ease forum discovered Dawn Chorus LLP and Dawnnchoruss Ltd., which later were linked to A Moon Shaped Pool. Similarly, Xurbia Xendless Ltd. was set up before In Rainbows, and Ticker Tape Ltd. appeared ahead of The King of Limbs. The most recent one before RHEUK25 was Spin With a Grin for Kid A Mnesia.
