SZA just won a Grammy, and then she popped over to Sesame Street to sing a new tune called “Be Kind to Me, Be Kind to You” with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Gabrielle.
On the show, SZA also taught everyone how to make a gratitude jar before they all sang the song together. Throughout its history, Sesame Street has been a friendly place for musicians. Lately, we’ve seen Haim teaching letters with Big Bird, Mickey Guyton talking about community spirit, Anderson .Paak jamming about holidays, Billie Eilish singing “Happier Than Ever” alongside Count von Count’s counting skills, and Kacey Musgraves sharing her love for colors.
Sometimes we wonder what it would be like if we could visit Sesame Street ourselves!
This month is going to be super busy for SZA as she joins Kendrick Lamar on the Grand National Tour. They’ll perform across the US, Canada, Europe, and in the UK after their big Super Bowl halftime show. She’ll be promoting her expanded album SOS Deluxe: Lana.
