The Cure to Release New Songs on Vinyl

The Cure is releasing two new live songs on eco-friendly vinyl on October 1, their first new music in 16 years.

These tracks, โ€œAnd Nothing Is Foreverโ€ and โ€œI Can Never Say Goodbye,โ€ have been featured in the bandโ€™s recent concerts as Robert Smith works on a new album called Songs of a Lost World, following up from 4:13 Dream. Naked Record Club will release this single named Novembre: Live in France 2022, and all profits will go to Brian Enoโ€™s climate charity, Earth Percent. The first 100 out of the total 5,000 records will have Robert Smith’s signature. Check out the artwork below.

Eno expressed his gratitude by saying, โ€œIโ€™d like to thank The Cure and NAKED Record Clubโ€”both true innovatorsโ€”for their generous support of vital climate projects through the release of The Cure – Novembre: Live In France 2022. Itโ€™s a powerful example of how the music community can work together to build a better world.โ€

The song โ€œAnd Nothing Is Foreverโ€ was recorded live at Montpellierโ€™s Sud de France Arena on November 8, 2022. Meanwhile, โ€œI Can Never Say Goodbyeโ€ was captured five days later at Toulouse Zรฉnith show. Naked Record Club uses an eco-friendly process for making vinyl records with less electricity and recyclable materials.

Fans love when artists use their influence for good causes.
