Dame Area is made up of Silvia Konstance and Viktor Lux Crux, blending their Catalan and Italian roots into a wild industrial synth-punk sound.
Their album Toda la Verdad Sobre Dame Area takes you on an anarchic ride, different from their previous melodic work but still promises a thrilling experience. “One of our biggest influences is doing what our influences”—like Suicide and Big Black—“wouldn’t do,” they shared. The songs mix flamenco rhythms, ’60s experimental pop, heavy metal, and contemporary electronic music.

Mermaid Chunky: Slif Slaf Slof
After years in England’s underground jazz scenes, Mermaid Chunky caught James Murphy’s attention from LCD Soundsystem when he heard “Friends” outside a Brooklyn cafe. Their music blends synth-pop adventures with woodwind dreams and folk dances somewhere between club vibes and ancient rituals.
Sometimes we just need to dance like nobody’s watching!
