Tonight, September 11, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards will be held at UBS Arena on Long Island.

Starting at 8 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m. Pacific), MTV will broadcast the ceremony live featuring performances by Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem, Glorilla, Katy Perry who wins the Video Vanguard Award this year, and host Megan Thee Stallion.

Taylor Swift leads with the most nominations and is up for Video of the Year against Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Eminem, and SZA. Other nominees include Chappell Roan, Bad Bunny, Jack Harlow, and Olivia Rodrigo.

How to Watch the VMAs Pre-Show

The pre-show kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern with 90 minutes of performances and interviews on MTV channels like MTV2 and CMT. Nessa, Dometi Pongo and Kevan Kenney are hosting it with a special performance from Le Sserafim.

How to Watch the VMAs Main Ceremony

The main event starts at 8 p.m. Eastern on various networks including BET Her and VH1. Sadly for streaming fans: it won’t be live on MTV.com or Paramount+.
