Wilco Vintage Guitars Soviet Oddities Mystery Pedals on Reverb

Wilco is adding more than a dozen new items to their Reverb shop, which they started last year.

From their famous Chicago studio, The Loft, you can find vintage guitars, Soviet-made oddities, signed posters, and mystery boxes filled with effects pedals. One special item is a 1962 Martin F-55 guitar from Jeff Tweedy’s collection. Loft studio manager Mark Greenberg said it’s super rare and he’s surprised Jeff is selling it.

Other cool things for sale include Tweedy’s 1960s Framus “Big 18” double-neck electric guitar, a yellow Wurlitzer MKS-470 with six keyboards, a red-white-and-blue Harmony Buck Owens H169 “American” acoustic guitar, and Nels Cline’s flower-decorated lap steel from the 1950s by an unknown maker. All these items will be available on July 18 when Wilco’s shop reopens on Reverb.

I think it’s amazing how musicians share their personal gear with fans.

This Friday, Wilco will drop their new EP Hot Sun Cool Shroud and play at Solid Sound Festival. After that, they’ll continue their summer tour for last year’s album Cousin, with Leah Senior, Cut Worms, and Katie Cruel opening for them .
