Young Thug is now set to perform at Summer Smash in Illinois on June 22, adding another festival to his schedule.
The rapper hasn’t hit the stage for a public show since March 2022. After his Austin gig, he was arrested and stayed in jail until October when he pleaded guilty to gang-related charges.
Earlier this year, Young Thug dropped a track with Lil Baby called “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber.” Not long ago, he also popped up on Playboi Carti’s Music. While waiting for his trial, he managed to release an album titled Business Is Business.
The Summer Smash festival has been around since 2018 thanks to Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX. In 2025, it will happen from June 20-22 at SeatGeek Stadium. Besides Young Thug, fans can look forward to seeing Don Toliver, Yeat, Future, Chance the Rapper, Sexyy Red, OsamaSon among others.
